Tips for us ladies in year 2007
- Aspire to be Barbie - the b#tch has everything.
- If the shoe fits - buy one in every Colour.
- Take life with a pinch of salt… a wedge of lime, and a shot of tequila
- In need of a support group? - Cocktail hour with the girls!
- Go on the 30 day diet. (I’m on it and so far I’ve lost 15 days).
- When life gets you down - just put on your big girl panties and deal with it.
- Let your greatest fear be that there is no PMS and this is just my personality.
- I know I’m in my own little world, but it’s ok. They know me here.
- Lead me not into temptation, I can find it myself.
- Don’t get your knickers in a knot, it solves nothing; and makes you walk funny.
- When life gives you lemons in 2007 - turn it into lemonade then mix it with vodka.
- Remember every good looking; sweet, single male is someone else’s ex boyfriend!

So, I am stealing this idea from the homepage of one of the departments at my workplace. It’s along the lines of those “get to know me” emails that are regularly forwarded.
1. At work I am responsible for?
Management and customer reporting; Action Item and Risk Management; Project Management of Minor Projects; Implementation and Maintenance of Project Management Best Practice; Process Improvement.
2. My loved ones are?
My hot partner Pete and my gorgeous son Caleb.
3. My earliest memory is?
Applauding at the end of ET, when Mum took me to see it at the cinema…I think I was 3 and everyone thought I was ‘oh so cute’.
4. At school I was?
The class clown….still am at times.
5. I wish I’d never worn?
Snakeskin pants.
6. I wish I had?
Patience….and maybe valium
7. I wish I hadn’t?
ADD, Hypercondria, Tourretes
8. My most humiliating moment was?
I don’t think I get embarrassed easily….I’ll pretty much do anything if you “physical challenge” me.
9. My happiest moment was?
The birth of Caleb.
10. At home I cook?
Whatever is around…casseroles, curries, pasta…I just don’t do roasts…I love them but for some reason have failed miserably everytime I’ve tried to cook one.
11. I’m very bad at?
Stopping eating at a buffet, drinking slowly, controlling my temper, being patient…and the list goes on.
12. When I was a child I wanted to?
Be a zookeeper, an interior designer, an infant teacher (Kindy - Grade 3), an art teacher, a professional dancer (not that kind of professional dancer…a real one, like on Broadway).
13. What profession other than your own would you like to attempt?
Own and waitress in my own restaurant. Failing that, clothes / music / movie store assistant would be cruisy.
14. What profession would you not like to do?
Anything in a medical / dental field. Or anything with human or animal excrements….sorry Kenny!
15. Friends say I am?
AWESOME!!!!!
16. If I were a car, I’d be?
An SUV….the ultimate Soccer Mum Mobile.
17. What’s your scariest experience?
Hitting a Giant Grey kangaroo in my Barina on my way home from work in 2006. I still get scared driving along that road after dark and tend to “Drive Miss Daisy”.
18. What do you owe your parents?
A good education; early exposure to lifeskills such as cooking and housekeeping; and eternal gratitude for all the time and effort (and money) put into my dancing through the years.
19. What’s the trait you find most frustrating about yourself?
My laziness.
20. Who would play you in the film of your life?
haha Angelina Jolie, Rachel Bilson or some equally hot brunette 
21. Would you want to live forever?
No, although I do sometimes have subconcious thoughts along the lines of “well if I mess up my life this time, I can always do it over”
22. If you could, what would you want to change about the world?
Well seems that climate change is a big issue at the moment. Disappointing that it’s taken the pollies this long to catch on, but maybe turn back time 50-60 years and start the whole “save the planet” campaign back then. I have lately been wondering how many generations will be able to survive the ever degrading state of Earth and how long it will take for the film Idiocracy to become more than the futuristic parody it is and become reality.
23. What’s your most treasured possession?
While I retained a variety of childhood belongings and own as much as the next person, nothing comes to mind as anything overly treasured.
24. What is your favourite destination?
Wait til I’ve taken a trip or two overseas and then I’ll let you know. For now I’ll have to stay local and go with Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland or Melbourne, Victoria.
16. What do you like most about where you grew up?
I grew up in Ipswich, but I loved spending school holidays at Grandma’s house in Boonah where my brother and I would go swimming at the local pool, ride our bikes around the high school across the road, play cars or army men in the dirt under the house, use a hammer and holes in the concrete slab out the back to crack the fresh macadamia nuts off the tree, and Saturday’s leaving the house unlocked and going “up town” to do the shopping at a small independant supermarket, paying 20c for the old mechanical ride outside, and afterwards getting a slush puppie on the way to the pub where we would have lunch and settle in for the afternoon. Anyone over 20 can probably appreciate these types of memories.

Yes, I just had to write a brief post to say hello world! Because this is my first blog…..although technically I already blog for www.ppdc.net
Yeah that’s right, I’m a blogger from waaaaaay back…or at least from a month or two ago…you know like 3 or 4 blog posts or something…actually I’m probably a bit slow to catch onto the whole blogging thing…..but I like to think I’m cool
No, in all seriousness this is a new site and a new experience for me and I hope I can keep it updated regularly so as not to lose interest from anyone. But I will try to keep it interesting for all…..
